In this course, the fundamentals of Logstash are presented. We show how logs are sequentially processed in a Logstash pipeline using different filters. Various filter plugins such as grok, kv, and mutate are discussed.

Prerequisites

This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in analyzing logs using Logstash. No prior knowledge of Logstash is necessary although at some point a basic understand of regular expressions is beneficial.
